As a message, from the point of view of the camera being dust and weather-proof, there are some very successful things occurring in this design. The "black box" identity however, seems to throw the design out of whack. In Visual Communications, concept and form are always in the service of the message. Spending a little more time on defining the message and the project's parameters, before or while designing could make your designs more appropriate and thereby successful.
